Where is Hokkaido? How can I go Hokkaido?
Hokkaido is the largest island in Japan, located in northern Japan. The prefectural capital is Sapporo. It is the most popular tourist destination in Japan. It is common to fly to Hokkaido. There are airports in Sapporo and Hakodate, Kushiro, Obihiro, and many other places.
Things to do in Hokkaido
There are many things to do in Hokkaido. There are plenty of attractive places to see beautiful scenery, take a hot spring bath, visit historical buildings, and much more. However, I recommend you do EATING, EATING, and EATING! Hokkaido has so much great food.
Hakodate area
Hakodate is located south of Hokkaido and is the gateway to Hokkaido. As a port town, Hakodate has long been associated with Western countries, and Western-style buildings can be seen in the city. The night view from Mt. Hakodate is one of the world’s top three nightscapes.
